Storm Saulter spoke with Afrofusion TV about his new award-winning feature film “SPRINTER,” after a screening at the first Smithsonian African American Film Festival. Saulter wrote and directed the movie, which stars Dale Elliot, Shantol Jackson, Kadeem Wilson, Lorraine Toussaint, David Alan Grier, and others, and talks about his desire to tell a “very Jamaican,” yet universal story about an up-and-coming teenage track star who wishes to reunite with his mother.
