A Black History celebration that organizers hope will become an annual event: Umoja on U. Lincoln Theatre and Adinkra group will honor the likes of Kenny Barnes, Ron Clark, Ayo Handy-Kendi, et al at the historic Lincoln Theatre on U Street in Northwest DC. Hosted by Juanita “Busy Bee” Britton and EZ Street, it will feature performances by Farafina Kan, BlackNotes, and the Ballou High School Choir, among others. General admission is $20, with Children and Seniors paying $10.
